H00k.dev

Hi HN, I'm Stefano and I’ve just launched h00k.dev, a webhook inspector focused on clarity, privacy, and useful developer tools.

It lets you capture and explore incoming webhooks, preview bodies as JSON, images, audio, videos and so on, inspect headers, decode JWTs, and save snapshots for debugging or sharing. You can also forward requests to your local environment and create AI-generated mock responses.

Built because I often needed more than just a basic request viewer when debugging distributed systems.

Happy to hear your thoughts!

Thanks! I didn’t include the link myself because HN wouldn’t let me submit it. I kept getting the "your account isn't able to submit this site" error. Appreciate you sharing it!

I don't see anything weird, but perhaps I'm missing something. Try sending an email to dang/tomhow hn@ycombinator.com and ask for advice.

You have a free plan, with some limitations like "only 1 bin". I'll repeat patio11 advice and suggest to add a big orange pancake button that says "try for free now". https://www.kalzumeus.com/2011/12/01/inaugural-kalzumeus-pod...

Thanks a lot for the feedback, really appreciated!

I’ve just updated the landing page and made the main CTA much more visible, following your "big pancake button" suggestion (while keeping my color palette). It already looks clearer, so thank you for pointing that out.

Also thanks for the tip about contacting hn@ycombinator.com.

Really appreciate you taking the time to check the project!
