I built Travel Time to solve a small but annoying problem I had as a solo founder: tracking mileage for business trips without wasting time or battery life.

Most mileage trackers rely on constant GPS monitoring or require you to manually log each drive. I wanted something simpler — something that would just know when I had a meeting on my calendar, calculate the drive (using Google Maps), and log it automatically.

So I built Travel Time, a small web app that connects to your Google Calendar. It reads the locations of your calendar events, calculates travel distances, and adds travel blocks directly to your calendar. For business users, it can: - Retroactively log drives up to a year in the past (No other mileage log app offers this!) - Auto-classify trips as business or personal (based on work hours or commute rules) - Log and summarize total mileage and reimbursement - Export everything for taxes with one click

There’s no GPS tracking, no phone app, and no hardware. It just works quietly in the background.

You can try it here: https://addtraveltime.com/business

This is in addition to the Personal Travel Time app, so all the features from there are already integrated: + Multiple calendar support + Return to start or go to next event ? Recurring events coming in a few weeks

I’m a one-person company, so any feedback on UX, privacy expectations, or integration ideas would be hugely helpful. Especially interested in hearing from people who’ve struggled with mileage tracking for tax or reimbursement.

Happy to answer any questions in the comments.
